About Mr. Wann
My name is Casey Wann, and I am currently the 7th and 8th grade teacher, martial arts instructor, and tennis coach at Stonebridge Academy. I was raised just a few miles north of Okmulgee in Mounds, Oklahoma where I played baseball, basketball, and tennis. I also played the saxophone in concert band and jazz band, and I was the drum major in marching band.
I graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with a Bachelor's Degree in Science Education with an Emphasis in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. During college I worked for an adventure program with young men between the ages of 13 and 17 where I was a Resident Juvenile Specialist.
After graduating from NSU I worked for Okmulgee Public School as the biology teacher and assistant tennis coach.
I married Stonebridge's Pre-kindergarten teacher, Melodie (McCay) Wann, in May of 2012. At the beginning of August 2012 I was awarded a first degree black belt in Musha Ryu Aikijutsu.
I am so thankful to be working with so many wonderful people. The teachers, staff, and students here at Stonebridge Academy are truly amazing.
